What is Toastmasters?

The mission of a Toastmasters Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

Demosthenes Toastmasters meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month from noon to 1 p.m. On the first Wednesday of each month, we usually meet at the State Comptroller's Office, 55 Elm Street in Hartford, Connecticut in the 2nd floor Personnel Training Room.  On the third Wednesday of each month, we usually meet at the Department of Environmental Protection, 79 Elm Street in Hartford, Connecticut in Conference Room 4-C. As this is normally your lunch hour, we encourage you to bring your lunch to the meeting. Please join us!
